Monero (XMR)
Monero (XMR) is an open-source cryptocurrency created in April 2014 that focuses on privacy and decentralization that runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and FreeBSD. Monero uses a public ledger to record transactions while new units are created through a process called mining. Monero aims to improve on existing cryptocurrency design by obscuring sender, recipient and amount of every transaction made as well as making the mining process more egalitarian.

Unlike most of the digital coins, Monero uses a special technology called “ring signatures” which shuffles users’ public keys in order to eliminate the possibility to identify a particular user.
This privacy feature does make Monero a bit harder to just send and receive. The address Format matters every time you send to a different address. Having to add a payment ID can make it sometimes even more difficult.

For privacy this coin is very good. for easy sending, keeping and receiving plus high transaction fees make it not that interesting for many users.
